Juxtaposition and Analogy

This week class lecture is about Juxtaposition.

Juxtaposition can be defined as placing two variable, side by side and their contrast or similarity are shown through comparison. Many creative processes rely on juxtaposition. By juxtaposing two objects or words next to each other, human brain will automatically associate or transfer meaning. Usually ‘turning’ something familiar to something less familiar or vice-versa.

:) --- Red Chilli ----> Love is like a red chilli,its hot and spicy,the much you have it,the stonger

it gets.

:) --- Sport Car ----> Life is like a wheel,sometime its up,and sometime it can be down.

:) --- Ice Cream ---> Pain and death are part of life,its like an ice cream. To reject them is to

reject life itself.

Concept of :

Credit Card

:) Love or Life ----> Love is like a credit card you can always use it,but one you over the limit,it will make you suffer all the life .Same goes to the love.

Time (Clock)

:) Happiness ----> Happiness is like a clock,its nothing more than good health and a bad memory.Like the clock which not stop ticking for 24hours and 365 days.

Cat and Duck

:) Love or Pain ---> Love or Pain is like a duck and cat,We don't believe in rheumatism and true love until after the first pain, like cats and duck which is always fighting.

Rubbish

:) Man or Woman ---> Man never remember, but woman never forget. Men is always like a tissue,when we need it,we use it,when we dont use it we throw it into the garbage,its a rubbish.

Mortar and Pastle

in week 6, we need to think about how the mortar and pestle are going to be in the future.

in 2010 maybe mortar and pestle still in its function, but in 2015 mortar and pestle can be used for massage.perhaps it will more effectively work than we use massage machine.
my other opinion is mortar and pestle can be dangerous weapon. or it can be something edible. if we cook one year, then it can be eaten.
mortar and pestle can be something precious. only one man can make that stuff. then It will be very expensive to get. it will be a reason that student can't do their homework, because they must hit the mortar using pestle to make a light. or something crazy, people must use mortar and pestle to pay . Let's say mortar is a coin money, pestle is paper money.

I heard from the discussion in class, theres crazy idea come out that the mortar can be a fashion.
that's I don't know how to sew and cut.. what a crazy idea.
